Alien Registration
- Process:
1) Individual Application (by immigration)
2) Group Application (by www.hirevisa.com/gangseo)
- Target: Foreigners staying in Korea for more than 90 days
Students admitted to degree programs must complete their alien registration, obtain an Alien Registration Card, and carry it at all times. (Immigration Act Article 27)
- Procedure:
1) Group Application: New students should follow the notice from the International Education Exchange Office at the beginning of the semester for group application (online registration).
2) Individual Application: Make a reservation at hikorea.go.kr for the Seoul Southern Immigration Office or the local immigration office based on your residence. After securing the reservation, bring the confirmation and visit the office to apply.
*Failure to apply for alien registration within 90 days may result in penalties.

-Copy of Passport (Bring the original when visiting the Immigration Office)
-Certificate of Visa Issuance
-One Passport-sized Photo (white background, taken within the last 6 months)
-Certificate of Enrollment
-Proof of Residence
-Application Fee
*If your ARC is damaged or lost, report the loss through hikorea.go.kr and visit the Immigration Office within 14 days to apply for reissuance.
