2.The grades for evaluation are classified as follows:

3.Exams are conducted during the midterm and final periods each semester, but additional examination is allowed as needed.
4.All students must complete the course evaluations at the end of the semester before they can view their grades, and course evaluations are conducted anonymously.
If there are any disputes regarding grades, students must apply for viewing, objections, or corrections within the period specified in the academic calendar for grade viewing/objection/correction. Once the period has expired, no grade changes will be made under any circumstances.

- If your GPA is under 2.0, you have to pay total 3,000,000 KRW for tuition fee.
- Attendance can account for up to 20% of the total grade according to the evaluation criteria. Therefore, poor attendance may significantly impact your final grade.
- If you are absent for 1/3 of the class hours, you will receive an F
→ For 3-hour classes; if you miss 15 hours, you get an F (3 hours*15 weeks = total 45 hours)
→ For 2-hour classes; if you miss 10 hours, you get an F (2 hours*15 weeks = total 30 hours)
Simply put, if you miss 5 weeks, you’ll get an F.
- If you are late three times, it will be counted as one absence.
3 times late = 1hour absence
- Since the course you received an F for might not be offered again, you may not be able to retake it. This may result in an F remaining on your transcript even after graduation.

1.An excused absence application must be submitted within two weeks from the date of absence.
2.Application Method: Intranet > One-Stop Service Application > New Request > Excused Absence > Apply (Supporting Documents are Required to Be Attached)
3.Excused absences are recognized only in the following three cases:

Leave of Absence Conditions
- If a student is unable to attend classes for 30 consecutive days or more due to unavoidable reasons, they may submit a leave of absence application co-signed by their guarantor to the President for approval.
- A leave of absence cannot exceed 2 semesters per instance and may be granted up to a total of 3 times during the entire period of enrollment.
- A leave of absence is permitted only if applied within the first 5 weeks of the semester.
- New and transfer students are not allowed to take a leave of absence during their first semester.
Returning from Leave of Absence
- Submit application and necessary documents within the period announced by the International Education Exchange Institute.
- Receive the Certificate of Admission, obtain the D-2 visa, inform the school of your entry schedule, and arrive in Korea before the start of the semester.
- If you do not enter Korea before the start of the semester, the Certificate of Admission will be canceled, and the D-2 visa will also be automatically canceled.
- Returning is not allowed if you enter Korea with a visa that does not permit academic activities (such as C-type visas).
Withdrawal and Expulsion
- Students who wish to voluntarily withdraw must submit a withdrawal form signed by their guarantor and obtain the President’s approval.
- Students falling under the following categories will be expelled.
I.No prospect of academic success due to poor academic performance or health issues.
II.Absent without leave for more than one month.
III.Not returned within one month after the expiration of their leave of absence
IV.Enrolled in another institution.
V.Not registered within the prescribed period.
VI.Having no hope for improvement due to behavior contrary to Christian principles or poor conduct.
VII.Received three consecutive academic warnings
VIII.Those who have been disciplinary action more than twice.
IX.Those who have violated other school regulations and rules.
Undergraduate Graduation Requirements
- Registered for at least 8 semesters
- Earn at least 130 credits as stipulated in the curriculum.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.
- Pass chapel for at least six semesters.
- Receive graduation certification
– Achieve at least Level 4 on the TOPIK (Korean Track)
– Achieve at least IBT71, IELTS 5.5 on the TOPIK (English Track)
– Or complete a Korean / English language extracurricular program (or subjects) provided by the International Education exchange Institute. - Students must pass the comprehensive graduation examination.
- Meet other graduation criteria set by the International office and their respective departments.
- International students cannot apply for deferred graduation.
Graduate School Graduation Requirements
- Registered for at least the minimum duration of study.
- Earn the required credits for their program and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Achieve at least Level 4 on the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) or an equivalent Korean language proficiency test, or complete a Korean language course designated by the graduate school.
- Doctoral students must achieve a TOEFL iBT score of 80, TEPS score of 600, IELTS score of 5.5, or higher, or complete an English course designated by the graduate school. (This requirement is waived for students whose native language is English.)
- Students must pass the comprehensive graduation examination.
- Students must pass the thesis defense.
